FILA UK Launches "Black Line" Urban Collection
(FILA UK) - This season, FILA is fully capitalizing on the recent demand for sports heritage. The "Black Line" revisits the brands nostalgic back catalogue from the eighties and nineties.
Until now, FILA has been globally recognized for their core "VINTAGE" collection, which pays homage to the brand's iconic tennis roots of the 70’s and 80’s. The FILA Vintage collection continues to celebrate the much loved pieces of FILA’s past, while still keeping up with current trends in an effort to refresh and excite new generations. This season, tennis continues to play a strong role in FILA's collection, but with a new urban twist from the same era.
To compliment the Vintage collection, SS/16 introduces the "BLACK LABEL," which revisits the brands nostalgic back catalogue from the eighties and nineties. This stand-alone collection boldly offers both men’s and women’s apparel and footwear, taking inspiration from the music and youth cultural from the past and present. Styles playfully fuse the oversized ‘baggy’ trends of the 90’s with figure-hugging Lycra fabrics of the 80’s to form a very appealing and nostalgic look for a younger generation.
