FILA UK Enters the Sports-Luxe Market with Launch of Gold Collection

With the demand for sports heritage so high, FILA has been able to capitalise on their rich heritage and develop a top tier, premium collection entitled FILA Gold. Blurring the line between sportswear and contemporary menswear, this capsule collection enables the brand to explore the sports-luxe market, aligning with the likes of John Smedley and J. Lindeberg.
Paying homage to the classic Italian gentleman, FILA Gold experiments with the brand’s underlying DNA and staple pieces, creating a more sophisticated, conceptual direction.
For Spring/Summer '16, FILA Gold uses a tonal palette of grey, beige, cream and of course, neat gold detailing, while introducing premuim fabrics such as cashmere and suede. Mixed with classic FILA silhouttes, these aesthetics create a luxurious identity with a more tailored fit. This mature reflection of the FILA brand is inspired by the classically clean, Italian lifestyle from where FILA was born in 1911.
FILA Gold will be released at selected retailers this spring.
