Resilience was the story of the week for the Belgian, as she defeated Vera Zvonareva, Iga Światek and Kateryna Kozlova before registering an incredible come-from-behind win in her semifinal matchup with No. 5 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova. Van Uytvanck saved an impressive five match points in the semifinal bout with Alexandrova and defeated the Russian in a thrilling third set tiebreak 7-6(7).
