(FILA Luxembourg S.à r.l.) - FILA sponsored tennis player Reilly Opelka captured his second career ATP Tour title Sunday, overcoming Yoshihito Nishioka 7-5, 6-7(4), 6-2 in the Delray Beach Open final. Opelka won two matches Sunday, knocking out Milos Raonic in a battle of top servers on tour, and then a scrappy Nishioka in three tough sets to take home the championship.
The World No. 39 defeated Ernests Gulbis, fellow FILA-sponsored Mackie McDonald and Kwon Soon-Woo as well as the No.2 seeded Raonic en-route to the final. The championship is Opelka's first since joining the FILA brand just a month ago.
At the FILA sponsored Rio Open, FILA Argentina sponsored tennis player Horacio Zeballos won his second consecutive ATP Tour doubles title with partner Marcel Granollers, as the duo knocked off Italy’s Frederico Gaio and Salvatore Caruso 6-4, 5-7, 10-7 in the final.
The triumph is the pairs’ third overall and is Zeballos' 15th career doubles title.
