FILA Sponsors Power 105.1's Angie Martinez's Annual Summer BBQ Cruise
The Event Featured Performances From French Montana and Fat Joe
(FILA North America) - FILA partnered with Power 105.1 radio personality, Angie Martinez, for her annual summer BBQ. The event, which took place on the Pier 40 Hornblower Cruise in Manhattan, played host to 1000+ attendees from the tri-state area. Aside from a small group of tickets available to purchase, the only way to gain access to the event was to win tickets through radio and sponsor activations with FILA, Brisk, AT&T and iHeart Media.
FILA's involvement included giveaways for the first 200 attendees, co-branded staff shirts, logo placements on the video screens located throughout the boat, and presence on the jumbo stage screen. Prior to the event, there was also an on-air ticket giveaway and shout outs featuring the brand during peak listener hours.
The yacht-cruise was filled to the max as it set sail on the Hudson River from 4:30-6:30 pm on Saturday evening. Those in attendance were treated to DJ sets from Ty Boogie and DJ Prostyle and live performances by French Montana and Fat Joe. French captivated the crowd with multiple hits off of his recently released 'Jungle Rules' album, while Fat Joe chose to run through many of the hits from yesterday and today.
