(FILA Global) - FILA sponsored runner William Kibor, won the GEICO Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon. The 31-year old, who hails from Kenya, finished yesterday’s race in the top spot with a record-setting time of 1:01:21. Kibor broke the previous race record of 1:01:40, which had been in place since 2009.
The 13.1 mile race took place on the famed Las Vegas Strip. Kibor was dressed in a custom FILA singlet featuring the company's Energized logo. Additionally, he wore the FILA KR3 running shoes in a gold colorway, created at the FILA R&D Center in South America.

Each year, more athletes participate in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series running events than any other running series in the United States. This year’s half marathon drew more than 22,000 runners.
