FILA Sponsored Player John Isner Secures Fifth Career Doubles Title in the Desert
(FILA Global) - FILA sponsored player John Isner and his doubles partner, fellow American Jack Sock, defeated Bob and Mike Bryan in the men's doubles final at the BNP Paribas Open Saturday evening in Indian Wells, California. The win marks Isner's fifth overall doubles title and first since 2016.

With the title, Isner will rise 85 spots to No. 50 overall in doubles, his highest rank in the category since October of 2017.

"It's pretty special. [Just] getting that winning feeling back," said Isner to the ATP of going the distance at Indian Wells.  "I think that the most important thing out of this whole week was playing some tough doubles matches and coming through in the clutch and getting that feeling back again."

Isner executed a number of crucial shots in both set tiebreaks of the championship match to help secure the first BNP Paribas Open title of his career, 7-6(4), 7-6(2).

"It's big," replied Isner, when asked about what it means to win in doubles at the largest combined ATP World Tour and WTA tournament in the world. "I mean, this is arguably the toughest doubles tournament all year because of how many singles players also play doubles here."

The win at Indian Wells marks Isner's second Masters 1000 doubles title in his last four appearances and second overall on hard surfaces. FILA also serves as the Official Apparel and Footwear Supplier of the tournament.
