(FILA North America) – FILA’s Legacy Pack celebrates the brand’s historical influence in the footwear category. Within this pack are three original, iconic silhouettes that were introduced by the brand in the 1980’s: Original Fitness, Original Tennis and F-13. In addition to these styles, FILA presents a 2017 update of the Cage. This classic 90’s streetball sneaker helped FILA become a major contender in the sport, both on the blacktop and on the hardwood. The latest version of the Cage displays fresh design elements on a traditional FILA silhouette.
The Original Tennis, Original Fitness and F-13 all showcase premium leather uppers that sit atop gum outsoles. A key feature on these three styles is the big FILA linear logo placement on the quarter. The branding on all three styles appears on both the tongue and midsole. The Original Tennis branding is also displayed on the back collar, while the Original Fitness branding is displayed on the back counter. The F-13 branding appears on the strap as well.
The Cage 17 features a one-piece knit upper that continues throughout the tongue, as well as TPU and elastic straps on the quarter. The 2017 version of the Cage has a memory foam one-piece collar, but continues to maintain original midsole-outsole construction.
