FILA's Karolina Pliskova Climbs to #3 in the WTA Tour Rankings
(FILA Global) - Following her quarterfinal round appearance at the 2017 Australian Open, FILA sponsored athlete Karolina Pliskova, has climbed to the #3 spot in the WTA Tour rankings. This marks a career high ranking for Pliskova.
Pliskova is off to a strong start for the 2017 tennis season. Her powerful serving style and dominant defensive play, helped her to secure a spot in the quarterfinals of the year's first Grand Slam. Prior to the Australian Open, Karolina claimed her 7th WTA Tour title, with a win at the Brisbane International.
