(FILA North America) - February 13, 2020 - FILA’s new Cement capsule introduces a selection of men’s apparel and footwear, featuring neutral hues and tone on tone designs. The range of tees, hoodies, shorts, pants and jackets pair back to the Grant Hill 2, Fixture and Ray Tracer footwear, each updated in new cement colorways.
FILA’s Cement capsule apparel offerings include a variety of matching sets, from crew neck sweatshirts and joggers to full-zip jackets and shorts. Materials like French terry and shiny taffeta are decorated with uniquely placed logos and contrast color accents. The capsule also includes tees and shorts with bold, tri-color block designs and FILA logo hits.
To complement the apparel FILA has also released the Grant Hill 2 Cement, Ray Tracer Cement, and the Fixture Cement:
The Grant Hill 2 Cement ($120) debuts in a new cement colorway, with pops of FILA red and FILA navy. An embossed quarter tonal logo is displayed on the medial side of the sneaker, while the lateral side with an embroidered quarter logo. The Grant Hill 2 Cement is designed in action leather, with FILA logo hits also appearing on the tongue, toe box cover and back heel strap. Additional features include a TPU pull attachment on the tongue, removable insole, EVA midsole and rubber outsole.
The Ray Tracer Cement ($75) is designed in a tonal pigskin suede with a mesh upper, and boasts printed and embossed red and navy logos on the heel and tongue, and an embroidered logo on the quarter. The sneaker consists of pull tabs on both the tongue and heel, as well as an EVA midsole and rubber outsole. The Ray Tracer Cement also has a mesh lining, and features a padded collar and tongue for maximum comfort.
The Fixture Cement ($90) rounds out the Cement capsule and is the newest silhouette among the three featured in the collection. The footwear presents a leather and mesh upper with a nylon quarter underlay. TPU molded heel and tongue logos with topographic patterns are a stand out for the Fixture Cement, as well as its speckled laces. Perforated tonal detailing is displayed throughout the quarter, along with additional embroidered FILA logos. Design details also include tongue and heel pull tabs, a removable insole, an EVA midsole and a rubber outsole.
