(FILA North America) - FILA has teamed up with American Rag, an institution and mainstay of California fashion and culture, to create limited-edition footwear styles. The collaboration includes new and exclusive Mindblower and Drifter silhouettes for men and women.
The FILA Mindblower x American Rag pays homage to La Brea Ave, the retailer’s home. The Mindblower, originally released in 1995, is known for its oversized, warped FILA logo. This special design features a suede upper in cream with rose accents, with a rubber midsole and turquoise jelly outsole. Additional design details include contrast color laces, the warped FILA logo in turquoise and rose, and a footbed that is decorated with “La Brea Ave” and the FILA stacked logo. The FILA Mindblower x American Rag is limited to 66 pairs for men and 66 pairs for women.
The FILA Drifter x American Rag features a sleek black design, with an embroidered turquoise and rose FILA logo across the strap. “La Brea Ave” is also stitched on the sandal’s midsole, as another nod to American Rag’s location.
The Mindblower will retail for $95 and the Drifter slide will retail for $40. Both styles are available now, exclusively through American Rag.
