(FILA North America) - FILA and Barneys New York are continuing their partnership with an exclusive FILA XO Barneys New York women’s capsule collection. The iconic sportsstyle brand and luxury specialty retailer first launched four women’s footwear styles this summer. The line has now expanded to include a ready-to-wear collection, released as part of thedrop@barneys.
The apparel range consists of ten styles including a bodysuit, sleeveless tee, polo shirt, halter bra, long sleeve crop top, hoodie, skirt, jogger, legging, and puffer jacket. Logo embellishments, FILA taping and reflective silver details decorate rich textures like ribbed knits, while a color palette of navy, rio red, gray and gardenia makes for a mix of modern yet classic styles. Prices range from $75 for the sleeveless tee to $295 for the puffer jacket, which is limited to 50 pieces.
Also among the offerings is the FILA XO Barneys New York Disruptor II Lux in a new silver hue. Limited to 50 pairs, the footwear features a silver upper and reflective details that echo elements of the apparel collection. FILA's signature logo appears on the shoe's tongue, quarter, midsole, and back counter, while FILA XO Barneys New York branding decorates the rio red footbed. A silver "X” embroidered pull tab is featured on the left shoe, with an “O” embroidered pull tab on the right shoe.
The FILA XO Barneys New York capsule will be featured at the retailer’s thedrop@barneys event on October 28 & 29 at its Madison Avenue flagship in New York City and on barneys.com. thedrop@barneys is a first-of-its-kind two-day event, in partnership with Highsnobiety, that will feature exclusive capsule collection and product launches, designer appearances, unique in-store activations and programming. The FILA XO Barneys New York collection will launch within “Café FILA at the drop,” a shoppable café showcasing the collection alongside coffee and classic Italian treats in a nod to FILA’s heritage.
