Release Date: 31 Jul 2017
FILA Debuts New Uniform Collection for Rogers Cup Presented by National Bank in Toronto and Montreal
(FILA North America) - FILA currently serves as the Official Apparel and Footwear Provider of Tennis Canada. For this year’s Rogers Cup presented by National Bank in Toronto and Montreal, beginning on August 5, FILA will outfit the ball persons, officials, staff and volunteers in a new set of on and off-court styles.

The specially designed apparel taps into FILA’s vast archives for inspiration. With an aesthetic that features clean cuts and simple lines, the uniforms fuse elements like the brand’s signature silhouettes and iconic logo with contemporary updates.

The on-court attire for the ball persons was designed in a red, black and white color palette that is synonymous with Tennis Canada. The ball boys will be dressed in a red crew neck top with cut and sew underarm panels in black, as well as black shorts. To echo the boy’s uniforms, the ball girls will wear a red polo dress with a ribbed collar, also detailed with cut and sew underarm panels. The matching red ball shorts are decorated with the Tennis Canada Maple Leaf logo and the FILA F-Box logo. Additionally offered for the ball persons is a full-zip jacket, crafted with a black contrast stripe across the chest and rib knit details on the cuff and hem. A red cap and visor provides the perfect finishing touch.

For a cohesive on-court statement, the officials will also be outfitted in a red, black and white colorway that ties back to the ball persons uniform. They will sport a red polo shirt with a contrasting black collar and white underarm panels. The polo will pair back to black shorts, detailed with white piping. The officials’ jacket boasts front slit pockets, while color blocking separates the red and black hues with white piping in between.

For the staff and volunteer uniforms, FILA and Tennis Canada focused on scuba blue, in an effort to tie back to the colorway of title sponsor Rogers’ corporate branding. The collection consists of four silhouettes of tops, including a v-neck shirt, a crew neck shirt, a polo shirt, and a full-zip hoody. All items are decorated with a modern pop of jaffa orange. The v-neck shirt and a polo shirt are each accented with a jaffa orange chest stripe, while the crew neck shirt and hoodie were designed with jaffa orange cut and sew under arm panels. To accessorize, the collection includes a hat and a visor in the same scuba blue colorway.

All items for the ball persons, officials, staff and volunteers, are embellished with the Rogers Cup/Coupe Rogers and FILA logos. Replica uniform styles will be available on-site at Sporting Life in Toronto and Tennis Zon in Montreal.
