FILA and Miansai Launch Limited-Edition Footwear Designs

(FILA North America) - FILA and Miansai have linked up to launch two limited-edition sneaker styles. The iconic sportstyle brand and Miami-based accessories company have designed footwear for men and women, available exclusively through Miansai.

The collaboration features two silhouettes: the FILA Targa x Miansai and the FILA Disruptor 2 x Miansai. Miansai’s sleek and modern aesthetic adds an element of sophistication to two classic FILA styles. The shoes are contemporary yet timeless, designed in a versatile, neutral color palette and incorporating Miansai’s signature, screw-cuff design.

“Over a year ago, FILA approached us for their first ever jewelry collaboration. We started the design process by going through their archives where we found inspiration from vintage styles and materials. This was something our teams enjoyed creatively as we both share a similar aesthetic and appreciation for vintage revivals,” said Michael Saiger, Founder and Creative Director of Miansai.  

The FILA Targa x Miansai, created in premium leather with touches of suede, features a gardenia hue with a contrasting gum bottom. Miansai’s silver screw-cuff detailing adorns the shoe’s back counter. In addition to the hardware, the Miansai logo and a woven pattern influenced by the fabrication used for maritime grade rope appear on the shoe’s tongue, with FILA logo hits on the quarter.

The FILA Disruptor x Miansai, also offered in gardenia, presents a mix of suede and leather for an elevated update to one of the brand’s most popular silhouettes. The laces are reminiscent of Miansai’s nautical-inspired rope bracelets, while the shoelace tab features a miniature screw-on cuff in gold. A dual-branded, embroidered logo is emblazoned on the tongue, with Miansai branding on the back counter and a FILA logo on the signature sawtooth bottom. Both silhouettes feature sock liners with the nautical weave pattern.

The special-edition FILA x Miansai footwear styles will each retail for $110. The sneakers are available exclusively at Miansai.com as well as their New York and Los Angeles flagship stores.
