(FILA North America) – FILA as a brand has been carrying momentum from 2015 into 2016. Outside of the Heritage category of classic retro silhouettes, the brand recently signed the number one ranked American tennis player, John Isner. In addition, FILA has also signed an exclusive deal with Roc Nation Sports boxer, Dusty Hernandez-Harrison. Pretty exciting way to kick the New Year off!
On the Heritage side, FILA unleashes its “Under The Lights” pack. The first pack of 2016 features original colorways of the MB and Original Tennis. The inspiration of the pack comes from that drive to excel in sport no matter what time of day it is. The colorways represent those hours in the day where most choose to rest but a select few choose to progress and push their limits. The MB saw terrific time on the hardwood floor of the NBA and the Original Tennis is still one of the undisputed classic tennis footwear silhouettes.
The MB off the bat features an iconic-signature design on the black and white midsole, FILA Buck on the upper to go along with a mesh combination on the tongue. Logo detailing appears on the upper, tongue, vamp and back counter. Additional detailing includes embossed design along the eyelet row, perforation on the upper and back ankle pull. The pair sits on a black rugged-rubber outsole. The Original Tennis carries a similar look with an addition of a red color-pop on the flag and logo branding.
