FILA and Pink Dolphin Come together for Vintage Cage Round 2
The Two Brands Put A Sleek New Spin On The Second Colorway
Every monumental boxing fight is followed up with the historic re-match. On November 27th, FILA and Pink Dolphin provided consumers with a sequel to the August 8th drop.
The two brands collaborated on another colorway of classic streetball silhouette, The Cage, for a brand new spin in black. The pairs carry a sleek all black premium tumbled leather upper and back cage, while sitting atop a tri-color midsole blend of Aruba Blue, Fiery Coral and Electric Blue. The upper carries clean perforation from the toe-box all the way throughout the quarter underlay. Other product call outs include, round laces, customized top eyelets, nylon collar lining, tonal quarter logo embroidery and standard ribbed tongue. Dual branding appears on the tongue, sock liner and opposing woven back tongue labels.
Special packaging includes a Pink Dolphin character hang tag, branded camo tissue paper, and custom box, featuring a pull draw for access. The shell features a black and white branding, while the pull draw features a tri-color look mirroring the outsole/midsole of the shoe.
The limited edition Cage was available exclusively at Pink Dolphin flagship stores on November 27th and sold out on www.pinkdolphinonline.com November 30th.
