FILA Unveils New Uniform Collection for Rogers Cup Presented by National Bank

Release Date: 15 Jul 2019
FILA Rogers Cup Ball Crew
(FILA Luxembourg) - FILA, the Official Apparel and Footwear Supplier of Tennis Canada, will outfit the ball persons, officials, staff and volunteers at this year’s Rogers Cup events in Toronto and Montreal. The tournament, which is one of the longest-running in tennis, is comprised of a WTA Premier 5 event and a simultaneous ATP Tour Masters 1000 event, which alternate between Toronto and Montreal each year.

The on-court attire for the ball persons pays homage to Tennis Canada with a distinctly Canadian color palette of red, white and black. The ball girl dress offers a subtle v-neck with a drop waist a-line silhouette, and pairs with red ball shorts featuring the Tennis Canada maple leaf logo on the right hip. The ball boys will be outfitted in a classic crew shirt with a black and red colorblock design for a cohesive look. All ball persons will sport a black full-zip jacket featuring red sleeves and rib detailing on the cuffs and bottom. The entire ball crew will wear FILA’s new Axilus 2 Energized performance tennis shoe.

On-court officials at the Rogers Cup will be dressed in the same colorway as the ball persons, sporting a red polo shirt with a black collar, black underarm insets and white sleeve panels. To complement their apparel, male officials in Toronto will wear the FILA x Rogers Cup Original Tennis 2.0 limited-edition shoe. All other officials will wear the Axilus 2 Energized footwear.

The event staff and volunteers uniforms will include ladies’ v-neck shirts; men’s crew tops; and polo shirts in a blue atoll, navy and white colorway. Both the polos and the men’s crew include a distinctive white half-chest stripe. All staff and volunteers will also receive a white full zip jacket featuring blue atoll piping and navy underarm panels for a pop of color. All items feature the FILA, Tennis Canada and event logos.

Replica Rogers Cup uniform collections will be available exclusively at FILA x Sporting Life in Toronto and at Tenniszon in Montreal.

During Rogers Cup, FILA will also offer a new Tennis Canada x FILA licensed apparel collection which will be sold on-site in both Toronto and Montreal. The collection, which consists of performance shirts, hoodies, layering pieces and more, will all feature Tennis Canada marks and embellishments. The Tennis Canada x FILA collection will be sold on-site at the FILA x Tennis Canada x Sporting Life concept shop in Toronto and Tenniszon in Montreal during the event, and will also be available on the tenniscanada.com eCommerce store after the tournaments.
