(FILA Luxembourg S.à r.l.) - FILA sponsored tennis player Horacio Zeballos continued his stellar 2019 doubles campaign Sunday, securing the Rogers Cup championship in Montreal with partner Marcel Granollers. The duo edged out the team of Wesley Koolhof and Robin Haase in the final 7-5, 7-5.
Playing in their first tournament together, Zeballos/Granollers dropped just one set all week en route to the championship, and the win will send Zeballos into the ATP Tour Doubles Top 10 for the first time in his career. It will be the first time an Argentine player has accomplished the feat.
The championship triumph is Zeballos second-career Masters 1000 doubles title (Indian Wells, 2019) and thirteenth overall championship victory.
