(FILA Global) - This year, FILA has been celebrating the brand’s original creative director, Pierluigi Rolando, with a limited-edition line of tennis apparel. FILA sponsored players wore the P.L. Rolando Collection on-court in Indian Wells and Paris. To continue to honor the legacy of a true innovator and FILA icon, the third capsule of the P.L. Rolando Collection will debut in London. FILA athletes Karolina Pliskova and Sam Querrey will wear the latest P.L. Rolando line, featuring styles inspired by Rolando’s archival looks and sketches.
Rolando was known for his innovative design approach, including his unique use of prints and patterns. The new capsule features special touches - such as a jacquard racquet print motif - to make the all-white offerings fresh and relevant.
The third capsule of the P.L. Rolando Collection features a stylish selection of clean and classic fashions for men and women. The women’s offerings consist of a racerback tank, halter tank, dress, skort, and warm-up. Special details for women include controlled pleating, zippers and the racquet print pattern. For men, the line includes a polo shirt, crew neck shirt, shorts, and a warm-up, highlighted by the same graphic motif.
To coincide with the collection release, this installment of the P.L. Rolando campaign features a new set of bespoke illustrations that bring the line to life, while uniting the worlds of art, style, sport and beyond.
