FILA EU and Wood Wood Team Up for New Collaboration

(FILA EU) - FILA EU has commissioned Danish lifestyle brand Wood Wood to fuse their unique fashion sensibility and design language with FILA’s heritage in tennis and court style. Over the last half century, FILA has been there for iconic moments, accompanying extraordinary individuals in pursuit of sport and with this collection, FILA and Wood Wood have come together to create pieces inspired by the game.

Referencing 70's greatness, the collection, entitled FILA by Wood Wood, employs panel blocking and a colour palette of brown, orange, and off-white hues, meant to express the movement of the sport. In the subtle shape of a stand-out dress, knitted pleats assert texture and contrast to the rough surface, on which the game of tennis unfolds.

The collection includes clothes for recreation and on-court action, along with leather constructed tennis shoes and headgear for both ends of the season. Breathable cotton, brushed fleece, and merino wool make up the textiles of the various styles, ensuring the utmost comfort. The result is a collection with a firm foundation in the 1970's classic tennis style as well as the future of streetwear.

FILA by Wood Wood launches exclusively on woodwood.com on Thursday, February 4th, 2021. The collaboration will be available at select EU retailers and fila.eu on February 25th, 2021.
