(FILA North America) - FILA has teamed up with EbLens, Torrington CT-based sneaker and streetwear retailer, to launch the FILA Ray Tracer x EbLens in celebration of the company's 70th Anniversary. EbLens has a longstanding relationship with FILA and this special-edition sneaker style further connects both brands. Each company shares a rich history, as FILA's heritage dates back to 1911 while EbLens was founded in 1949.
The collaboration takes FILA's popular Ray Tracer silhouette and incorporates EbLens’ branded colorways from the last 70 years, for a bold mix of red, citrus, purple, aqua, black, and white hues. Two options for laces include a citrus design and a dual-colored black and red offering.
A closer look inside the shoe will reveal even more details that pay homage to EbLens' anniversary, while highlighting FILA's signature aesthetic. The shoe’s custom sock liners honor the year with “We Were There. EbLens Est. 1949.” FILA branding appears on the tongue and quarter while a woven label inside the tongue includes EbLens 1949.
The FILA Ray Tracer x EbLens is offered in infant, kid’s and men’s sizing. The footwear will be available exclusively at Eblens.com beginning on November 28 and in all EbLens retail locations beginning on November 29.
