New successes for our athlete Davide Tacchini, who at 43 years deservedly won a place in the Italian national selection of downhill skating, participating in the world championships of this specialty, which took place from 3 to 5 August in Teolo (PD) , in the heart of the Euganean Hills.
Thanks to his preparation and his commitment, Davide was able to transmit all his enthusiasm to the other teammates, resulting decisive for an excellent performance of the entire Italian team, which has succeeded in the task of placing two athletes in the first two places of the race.
For Davide, in the end, a prestigious eighth place, which sees him among the ten best in the world and allows him to return to occupy the fifth place in the World ranking, a position that had not held in the last six years.
