(FILA Luxembourg S.à r.l.) - When FILA’s top female sponsored tennis players step on court at the year-end Shiseido WTA Finals Shenzhen, they will debut the brand’s latest apparel line - the chic Heritage Collection. World No. 1 Ash Barty and World No. 2 Karolina Pliskova will compete in the elite singles field of eight - while World No. 6 Timea Babos will look to repeat as doubles champion of the event. The players are destined to dazzle on court in the women’s Heritage Collection featuring cool-hued feminine silhouettes and clever-cut classics.
On one of the game’s biggest stages, the FILA women will sport the clever and crisp Heritage Collection, rooted in nostalgia with a clear vision of what’s to come. The familiar FILA foundation of red, white and navy is complemented by cool-hued pops of lilac pastel. Barty will wear the navy Heritage Racer Back tank paired with a classic solid white skort; while Pliskova will opt for full pinstripe attire in the navy Heritage Sleeveless Polo and matching Striped Skort. Babos’ ensemble will feature the Heritage Halter Top in navy - trimmed in white at the neck and arm holes - paired with a solid white skort. All of the athletes will complement their on-court attire with the white and navy-striped bomber Heritage Jacket and coordinating navy zip-ankle track Pant.
All FILA sponsored tennis players will wear a limited edition colorway of the Axilus 2 Energized on court in Shenzhen. The WTA Finals shoe features a fiery FILA red and navy colorway to complement the bold colors of the Heritage Collection. FILA’s newest performance tennis shoe has propelled the brand’s roster of sponsored players - which includes four of the top 12 female players in the world (No. 1 Barty, No. 2 Pliskova, No. 10 Kiki Bertens, No. 12 Sofia Kenin) - to unparalleled success during the 2019 season.
